Ross Mt. Hood Home

​Hand built in Allentown PA USA, Ross mountain bikes was one of the pioneers and early entrant into the mountain bike scene. A cult favourite, the Mt. Hood was one of the top of their production line.This bicycle features TiG wielded construction using Ishiwata 4130 chromoly steel tube sets and was Ross' flagship mountain bike. It featured their signature all chrome finish with Tange Champion crown steel fork, a reinforced, gusseted down tube/head tube juncture and their mirror like chrome finish. This bike has made it through 31 years in great shape and the finish is excellent with only minor pitting with the decals are still intact. A special feature includes the rare chromed finished spoke guard. The only replacement parts are the newly fitted Schwalbe Super Moto tyres. TheSuper Moto's 'Speedgrip' compound and new carcass construction provides a sensational low rolling resistance, providing an easy alternative for riding on dirt roads or on light, dry terrain.
